The Koma Modular Construction company is an Innovative company Zlin Region 2010.
The Koma Modular Construction s.r.o., a company from Vizovice, has got a title The innovative company of Zlin Region. The President of regional council of Zlin Region, Mr Stanislav Mišák devolved this award upon the representative of the company Ing. Stanislav Martinec at the Thuesday´s gala ceremony evening. The ceremony place of the second annual, which has been organised by the Technology Innovation Centre and its partners, was the University Centre Atrium of UTB in Zlín.
Koma Modular Construction, s.r.o. had already got an honorable mention for innovation last year and this year the professional jury was the mostly impressed especially by its innovations in low-energy modular (portable) buildings, which have a wide range of use - family houses, apartment houses, kindergartens, shops, etc.
„At the second annual of competition have been shown a lot of interesting companies implementing innovative activities, that contribute to the development of these companies and the entire region. I am glad that - despite the difficult situation in many companies in the Zlin region, with regard to the economic recession in recent time - were registered 16 innovative companies, and we have awarded the best ones from them and we would like to help them to raise the profile of their activities. I believe that the results of the competition will both awarded and other participated companies motivated to the further development and about the Zlin region will be spoken as the region in which operate a number of successful companies, „said the President of regional council of Zlín Region, Mr Stanislav Mišak.
The Zlín Region announced this year’s competition in March 2010 and then has closely worked in organizing this competition with the Technology Innovation Centre and with a strategic partner the Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The general partner of the competition was the Association for the Development of the Zlín Region and to ensure that competition is also involved in partnership Česká spořitelna, CzechInvest, the Association of Innovative Entrepreneurship CR, District Economic Chamber in Kromeriz, Uherske Hradiste, Vsetin, Zlin, Agency for Economic Development Vsetinsko, Regional Centre for Cooperation, Valašskokloboucký Enterprise Centre, Business Incubator Kunovice - Manorial Court and Regional Support Resource. The President of the Steering Committee for implementation of competition the Innovatve company of Zlín Regionio is a statutory deputy governor Libor Lukáš, Deputy Vice-President is Jaroslav Drozd.
