The second project of the humanitarian programme KOMA for World shall be realised in Moldavia

Support for the efforts of Moldavian small farmers to gain independence is the objective of the project that KOMA Space is realising this year with Diakonie ČCE.
The basic principle is support for self-sufficiency and long-term sustainability. The farm of husband and wife Tudor and Marie Darie ranks among the most progressive. It lies in the northern part of Moldavia in the town of Chetrosu and they are one of the few holders of an ecological agriculture certificate. However, Moldavia lacks specialised shops for the distribution of ecological foods. The farmers would like to build their own shop and also offer their products on the internet.
Thanks to programmes financed by Swiss HEKS (mandate to act on behalf of the Protestant churches of Switzerland) and the Czech Diakonie ČCE, the couple has, for instance, built large greenhouses on their farm. And our sister company KOMA Space shall also support them in the effort to build a special shop for ecological foods. This autumn the company shall supply a modular structure to serve as a shop with a connected tempered storage facility.
