KOMA SLO­VA­KIA Imple­ments HOM Ska­li­té Modu­lar Building

The muni­ci­pa­li­ty of Ska­li­té is situa­ted at the Slo­vak-Polish bor­der, a few kilo­me­t­res from the pla­ce whe­re the Slo­vak, Polish and Czech bor­ders con­ver­ge. It is a beau­ti­ful moun­ta­in area in the northern part of the Kysu­ce Beskid Moun­ta­ins. KOMA SLO­VA­KIA, our sis­ter com­pa­ny which sells and lea­ses KOMA MODU­LAR pro­ducts, imple­men­ted a modu­lar structu­re for The Nati­o­nal Highway Com­pa­ny Inc. on the D3 Svr­či­no­vec - Ska­li­té highway. The pre­li­mi­na­ry con­structi­on work for the modu­les was under­ta­ken by Váhostav-SK. An alu­mi­ni­um panel faca­de cove­ring the buil­ding is done in the colours of the Bra­ti­sla­va Nati­o­nal Highway Com­pa­ny logo. The ope­nings are gla­zed with the Ali­plast sys­tem using RC3 glass panels. The buil­ding has been gran­ted a class B ener­gy label (to 70 kWh/m2.a). The enti­re structu­re is equip­ped with flo­or hea­ting; the lights are built into the suspen­ded cei­ling. The buil­ding is fully air-con­di­ti­o­ned and the out­si­de lighting employs spe­cial LED lighting fix­tu­res with a high degree of IP66 protection.
