Last year KOMA joined forces with the charity organisation Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren - Centre for Relief, with the aim of helping organisations and local governments abroad. The project aims to strengthen the independence and responsibility of selected entities so that they can provide quality services on a regional level in the long-term.

The first project to be ceremonially handed over to a local autonomy on 20 January 2016 was the Centre for Mothers with Children near Kiev. Two buildings were created for the organisation Father’s House, which provides accommodation for families in conflict zones in eastern Ukraine.
