In addi­ti­on to kin­der­gar­tens, the KOMA sys­tem is a sui­table solu­ti­on for scho­ols, as well. An exam­ple of this type of con­structi­on is the extensi­on for music les­sons of the Hader­sdorf Ele­men­ta­ry Scho­ol in Vien­na-Pen­zing. The two-sto­rey buil­ding pro­vi­des spa­ce for a total of 100 stu­dents in 4 clas­ses. The ent­ry to the 1st flo­or con­sists of a woo­den stai­r­ca­se and sta­in­less-ste­el banis­ters. On each flo­or, the­re are two clas­sro­oms, a tea­chers‘ offi­ce, and social faci­li­ty. The­re is also a barrier-free lava­to­ry on the 1st flo­or – the buil­ding ent­ry is barrier-free as well.
